If you want to keep top of mind of your valuable clients, consider a corporate gift idea all year long. They will not only appreciate the thoughtful gesture, but it will give you a good reason to contact them.
The obvious time of year for a corporate gift idea is Christmas. This is important and should be planned out well in advance as a part of your marketing budget. Your top clients will notice if they don’t receive a gift from you, so make sure this gift is personalized with your company name, and if possible, logo and contact information. Also, this is the time “spoil” your key clients, so consider gifts that they are sure to remember. Corporate gift ideas include: crystal gifts, corporate apparel, executive pen sets, leather portfolio pads, calendars, etc. All of these items can be personalized with your company information.
But don’t limit your gift-giving gestures to only the Christmas holiday time. Also consider a corporate gift idea for after the New Year. Just be careful that this doesn’t appear as an “after thought” as if you forgot to send a Christmas gift!
As you are developing your marketing budget and plan, add in a corporate holiday gift idea at least once a quarter. They don’t all need to be elaborate gifts. Maybe you want to sweeten the summer season with a fruit basket, sun visor, personal fan, or a water toy. Perhaps you want to kick-off the fall season with a thermos mug, gourmet coffee set, hot coco set, or fleece blanket. Or, show clients you are thankful for their business with a small Thanksgiving gift.
